Call Me MiSTER at Columbia College

Building Strong Teachers. Transforming Classrooms. Changing Futures.

For more than 170 years, Columbia College has prepared educators who teach with purpose and lead with heart. Through Call Me MiSTER (Mentors Instructing Students Toward Effective Role Models), we’re deepening that legacy, equipping future teachers from diverse backgrounds to serve in South Carolina’s elementary schools that need them most.Call Me MiSTER logo

This statewide initiative, launched at Clemson University and now active across 27 partner institutions, aligns perfectly with our mission to prepare students for career, community, and life. Together, we’re shaping the next generation of role models who will inspire confidence, close achievement gaps, and uplift entire communities through education.
